Controllership Orders

If a family member or someone close to you becomes unable to manage their own financial affairs and has never signed an Enduring Power of Attorney, we can assist you with making an application to the Office of Care and Protection in the High Court in Belfast for a Controllership Order. This ensures that the person who is unable to manage their own affairs has someone appointed by the Court to manage their financial affairs. The person appointed is then required to keep accounts which are submitted to the Office of Care and Protection to ensure that the Order is being complied with.
